We deliver the best design that reflects our clients' desires.
The earliest design experiences of Laura Lerond involved constructing miniature ranches and houses in the exposed roots of park trees as a child. Three-dimensional and two-dimensional art have always played an important role in her creative development. A penchant for designing customized furniture for discerning clients has also been nurtured as one of her passionate pursuits. Many years and three degrees later, Ms. Lerond declared Interior Design as her functional art of choice, reserving mixed media and sculpture for down-time hours.
In recent years, Ms. Lerond has focused primarily on remodeling single family homes, with an emphasis on Universal Design, which is intended to benefit all through accommodating all abilities at any age. As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) trained through the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), Ms. Lerond intensifies that focus to customize each client’s space to accommodate their specific, current and anticipated unique needs. Whether assisting a family in refurbishing their home after a flood, or helping that new addition with another bath and bedroom unfold as a family grows with multiple generations, or creating a safe retreat for an elder, Ms. Lerond's talents translate vision into reality, incomparably.
Function aside for the moment, it is the intersection of her ability to listen, her design sensibilities and artistic lens, and the collaborative nature of the design process with the clients that brings form, beauty and a true sense of home to her projects. Form and function in harmony, from room design to materials selections to furnishings, Ms. Lerond offers turn-key services that are as unique as she herself.
